Does your dog relentlessly pull on the leash, get distracted easily - and then pulls, or simply is not connected with you during walks?  You're not alone!  Many dog owners face these challenges, but the good news is that you can turn your walks into a pleasant and enjoyable experience for both you and your furry friend through our Wonderful Walkers Class!


This class is designed to teach you and your dog the skills needed for enjoyable, stress-free walks. Using our Relationship Focused Training Methods, our step-by-step curriculum will help you build a strong foundation of WALKING TOGETHER, with your dog's focus on you, through clear communication, recognizing leash pressure and confidence knowing you have the tools to handle most any situation!


The Wonderful Walkers Class covers:


  • Building a 'walking on leash' foundation: Of course we start with loose leash waking fundamentals, but we also coach you on the proper cues to use, pattern games to help with focus, and resetting your walks when things get out of control!
  • Advancing the foundations: Yep, this class PROGRESSES into advanced pattern games that really support high level distractions, along with advanced cues that support management of the big world around you.  
  • Mastering the Walk:   Understanding and utilizing environmental rewards, being able to handle unpredictable moments like off leash dogs, and most importantly - building and maintaining confidence in both you and your dog through partnership!


As always, it is our goal to help you understand the "why" behind your dog’s behavior and coach you through how to help them be more successful when out and about. Our strategic setup includes a lot of space, which allow us to provide an environment where your dog can learn and feel safe. We will guide you through exercises that will promote a positive and enjoyable experience for both you and your dog!

  • Payment

    Payment must be made prior to your first class AND no refunds will be honored 72 hours prior to a class start date, due to the limited number of dogs in class.


  • Missed Classes

    In group classes, a no-show results in the loss of that session; make-ups are not possible. The client can still access the homework sent by the class trainer and is welcome to ask questions about the material covered in the missed session. These questions must be sent in writing via email to the trainer at least 24 hours prior to the next scheduled class session. It is the client’s responsibility to comply with the established schedule.
