A NOBLE BEAST DOG TRAINING CLASS

Are you and your dog ready for high school?


Our Canine Good Citizen Class is High School, for dogs! 


Once dogs get through this class, they are ready for those college classes such as therapy dog work, sports, search & rescue, but most importantly will be capable of joining you, no matter where you want to take them in life!


Our AKC Canine Good Citizen Class is our most challenging obedience class, but also the most rewarding! This 4-week obedience course is for dogs who have completed our Divine Dog Class, or another similar “middle school” class, or who have a very thorough foundation at home. Not sure if your dog is ready for this advanced obedience class? Just ask us, we are happy to help! 

This class covers all aspects of the Canine Good Citizen Test:


Test 1: Accepting a friendly stranger


Test 2: Sitting politely for petting


Test 3: Appearance and grooming


Test 4: Out for a walk (walking on a loose lead)


Test 5: Walking through a crowd


Test 6: Sit and down on command and staying in place


Test 7: Coming when called


Test 8: Reaction to another dog


Test 9: Reaction to distraction


Test 10: Supervised separation


This class prepares you and your dog, through intensive practice, for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. During Week 1 of class, we will run through a mock test to find out what everyone needs to work on. Weeks 2 – 4 consist of practicing any of the 10 aspects of the test that each dog needs to work on. Week 5 is a final, mock test, to ensure that we work on every aspect of the test, so you and your dog have the best chances of passing and earning that AKC Title!


Once you finish the course, you can purchase the test from Noble Beast Dog Training at the discounted price of $30 (regularly priced at $50).

  • Payment

    Payment must be made prior to your first class AND no refunds will be honored 72 hours prior to a class start date, due to the limited number of dogs in class. Noble Beast Dog Training does not cancel classes due to low enrollment. 


  • Missed Classes

    In group classes, a no-show results in the loss of that session; make-ups are not possible. The client can still access the homework sent by the class trainer and is welcome to ask questions about the material covered in the missed session. These questions must be sent in writing via email to the trainer at least 24 hours prior to the next scheduled class session. It is the client’s responsibility to comply with the established schedule.
