Mindy Jarvis

Co-Owner / NB Certified Dog Trainer & Behavior Consultant & CGC Evaluator

Mindy Jarvis founded Noble Beast Dog Training over 15 years ago!  When Mindy started her dog training career, she asked herself one question, “What makes me so successful with dogs?” The answer was because dogs trusted her. Mindy has always had a unique ability to connect with dogs, take it slow, and develop that trusting relationship needed to teach a dog a behavior. It was not about SIT, DOWN, and STAY – it was about the relationship. In addition, as much as Mindy loves dogs, she loves people too, which is why we have such a high standard of professionalism here at Noble Beast. The Noble Beast Dog Training experience has to be enjoyable for both dog and owner for true success to happen! At Noble Beast Dog Training PEOPLE matter.

From caring so deeply about dogs AND people came the Noble Beast MISSION:

Help put smiles on both the faces of dogs and their owners by bridging the communication gap through positive, effective, easy to use, and fun training techniques and services

so they can live long and harmonious lives together!

In doing this we are keeping dogs in forever homes!

With the mission of keeping dogs in their forever homes – which serves both the dog and their owners, we take a very proactive and holistic approach to dog training. Although we offer private in-home sessions and group manners & behavioral classes like many other trainers, Mindy has always had a great passion for dog/dog socialization and group play dynamics, and from this she is the original founder and creator of a one-of-a-kind program called GROUP DAY TRAINING, now known as Camp B.A.R.K., which is what Noble Beast Dog Training specializes in!  You can do all the training in the world, but if your dog is uncomfortable in our big human world with other dogs and even people – none of that will matter, which is why this program is such a huge deal at Noble Beast Dog Training – this program changes lives!

In the last 15 years, Mindy grew the Noble Beast Dog Training team from 1 person (herself) to a team of over 14 people and as a dog training team we literally train thousands of dogs per month. As a matter of fact, in 2022 we worked with over 19,000 dogs and their families!  You will often hear Mindy say that “our dog training makes humans more human”, due to our Relationship Focused Training methodologies. Mindy takes pride in knowing that year after year, our scientific and humane methods have served dogs and their humans, eliminating the use of choke chains, prong collars, and shock collars for a good number of them.

Mindy currently does not do much training anymore, as running Noble Beast Dog Training is a full-time position. Her aim going forth is to continue to grow and develop programs that are sure to enhance the dog/human relationship even more! One thing that is evident to Mindy is that the success of Noble Beast Dog Training has less to do with her and more to do with the amazing people on the Noble Beast Dog Training team! At Noble Beast, you are sure to work with the best of the best in town from our Client Concierge Team that answers the phones and emails to the trainers who work with the dog and people, to our scheduling department, and the folks who care for our building and support the dogs in Camp B.A.R.K. We are all committed to keeping dogs in their forever homes, all doing our part to make that a reality!
