Certified Dog Trainer & Behavior Consultant
Zack has always been an avid lover of all animals, with a special place in his heart for dogs. As a Michigander turned Coloradan, Zack moved out in the summer of 2020 to begin his career training dogs for Noble Beast Dog Training. In Michigan, he graduated from Western Michigan University with a BA in Behavioral Psychology, which is the fundamental psychology behind behavioral modification (AKA animal training). Through his time at WMU, he gained experience using behavioral modification on a variety of different subjects, ranging from rats to humans, with a major emphasis on cats and dogs. Towards the end of his college career, Zack helped teach the Applied Animal Behavior Practicum, which involved teaching animal training techniques to students at multiple different shelters in the area, focusing on increasing more adoptable behaviors (obedience, tricks/commands, etc.) while also decreasing undesired behaviors (jumping, barking, leash pulling, etc.). In addition to these experiences, Zack also has experience using behavioral modification in a classroom setting working with mentally disabled children. Zack is extremely humbled to have the opportunity to work under Noble Beast Dog Training, and looks forward to meeting you and your furry companion!
