    KPA-CPDT – Obedience Trainer/Behavior Consultant

Originally from the small town of Crowley, Louisiana, Victoria grew up as a dedicated cat person. Like most people, she graduated high school with no clue what she wanted to do with her life. Several years later, she found her love for dog training when she took a Sociology class in college. From there, she put together her fascination with behavior and her love for animals and started learning everything she could about dog training. Eventually, she got her very own Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy (Zelda) to practice with. Several months later, she decided it was time for the real deal. She quit her boring soul-draining office job to start teaching pet parents at her local Petco!

After some time of working at Petco, she decided to more officially call this her career and enrolled in the Karen Pryor Academy Dog Trainer Professional program. She spend 6 months learning all about modern, science based teaching techniques. Victoria graduated the KPA in October 2015 and proudly earned the title of Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA CTP).

During her time at Petco, Victoria decided she needed a new challenge and so she transplanted her life to Houston, Texas. In Houston, Victoria worked at a Doggy Daycare/Training facility. Here, she taught group classes, private lessons, and got lots of hands on practice managing groups of dogs playing. She specialized in puppy socialization and training, and prides herself in her ability to keep a group of 8-12 young puppies playing nicely with only one pair of hands!

Although Houston was close to her family, Victoria knew it was just a stepping stone. She transplanted once more to join us in Denver, and could not be more excited about it!

Victoria has a 4.5 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Zelda, who loves to show off her tricks and problem solving skills. Rajah is 4 year old a genuine Alabama mutt who belongs to Victoria’s housemates and has some general anxiety. Zelda and Rajah have lived together for over a year now and their relationship has come a long way. Zelda has really helped Rajah learn about doggy communication and body language, and now they act like brother & sister!

Victoria is so excited to be a part of the Noble Beast team and to be planting roots in Colorado!
